Yanko Holdings is a single-family office run by Felix Yanko and Zina Ribkovskaia. We invest our own money, which means every decision reflects our genuine judgment — not an obligation to outside investors or fund mandates.

Felix brings over 25 years of experience in technology and telecommunications. Zina is a PhD chemist and drug discovery scientist currently at Pfizer. Together we focus on three areas where we have real, working knowledge: telecommunications, biotechnology, and real estate.

No outside stakeholders, no quarterly redemption pressure, no minimum return targets set by someone else. We invest on our own terms and timeline.

Telecommunications

AI is changing the economics of business communications

Voice AI and intelligent routing are moving from novelty to infrastructure. The opportunity is in the application layer — workflow automation, real-time transcription, and AI-assisted interactions built on top of existing platforms.

Biotechnology

Targeted degraders are maturing as a drug discovery platform

PROTACs and related approaches have moved into serious clinical development. Several oncology programs are now in Phase II. We are watching how smaller, well-capitalized biotech companies are differentiating their platforms in areas where traditional small molecules have failed.

Real Estate

Rate normalization is creating selective entry points

The rate environment of recent years forced repricing that is still working through the market. We are watching specific submarkets — smaller multifamily and mixed-use properties in secondary cities where supply-demand dynamics are more straightforward.

Biotechnology

Drug discovery, medicinal chemistry, and targeted therapeutics. Zina brings PhD-level science across NIH-funded research, oncology drug development at Orum Therapeutics, and pharmaceutical R&D at Pfizer.

Felix has spent more than 25 years at the intersection of technology and telecommunications. He studied Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Rhode Island, and has since founded and led multiple companies in IT, cloud communications, and business services. At Voiply, he serves as President and has helped build the company into a recognized cloud communications provider serving thousands of customers nationwide. He is also a member of BlueTree Allied Angels, evaluating early-stage investment opportunities alongside fellow operators and investors.

Zina is a PhD chemist with deep expertise in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery. She has worked across academic, startup, and large pharmaceutical environments — including research roles at MedChem Partners, Orum Therapeutics (where she contributed to targeted protein degrader programs for cancer treatment), and currently at Pfizer in Biomedicine Design. Her research has received NIH SBIR funding and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. She is also a member of BlueTree Allied Angels.

We invest in what we know

Our three focus areas reflect decades of direct professional experience. We do not invest where we cannot add something beyond capital.

No outside pressure

As a single-family office investing our own money, we are not accountable to outside investors or quarterly redemption schedules. We hold when holding makes sense.

No pressure to deploy capital for its own sake. We would rather say no to ten things than yes to the wrong one.

Philanthropy is
part of the plan

We have been fortunate. Building a family office is not just about growing wealth — it is also about figuring out what to do with it that matters.

We are not yet running a formal foundation or structured giving program, but the intention is real. The areas we care about most reflect who we are as people — the science Zina works in every day, the access to technology that shaped Felix's career, and the communities we are part of.

Biomedical Research

Supporting early-stage research and scientists working on treatments that do not yet have large pharmaceutical backing, particularly in oncology and rare diseases.

Technology Access and Education

Giving students and young professionals access to the tools, mentorship, and opportunities that make careers in technology possible, regardless of background.

Community Investment

Supporting local organizations and causes where we live and work. Practical, direct impact over large institutional giving programs.
